FINALLY - a Malaysian restaurant back on Ave U! VERY thankful for this. They've now been around at least a year I think? Had their food soon after they opened, & was extremely underwhelming. So happy to say they have def found their footing, & everything was on point. They sort of market themselves as SE Asian fusion, but happily, they are really Malaysian. The Thai food we tried was not quite there, but the Malaysian food sure was. Laksa, kangkung, roti, curries, & rice dishes were all very good. We also really like New Belacan on 8th Ave in Sunset Park, & LOVE Malay Restaurant in Flushing, but they are not so close by - this is our new home spot.

4.5! Cute new spot in Sheepshead with delicioussss Malaysian food. The service was so kind and quick! Every dish we ordered was delicious. I would come back and try more of their noodle dishes and beef rendang. At the end, they serve classic Cantonese sweet red bean soup to end it off. Would definitely come back and support this small business!

Amazing night to celebrate a friend's birthday. The interior is simple with table and chair. It's bright and clean inside. We were seated by a friendly auntie waitress. We started with a free roti canai for writing a review. Then we got ready for the menu. We couldn't resists and wanted to try everything! So we ordered whatever we pleased. Seafood with taro nest - one of the best! The taro nest is extremely flavored well. It wasn't just a bowl that holds onto seafood, it was so pleasant to enjoy. Chiang Mai clams - extremely delicious. The tasty green curry flavor was so enjoyable with white rice. Haianese Chicken - soft and tender. Cooked to perfection. Tastes so good with chicken rice. Curry Tilapia - the fried tilapia was crispy. The veggies, especially the tofu puffs absorbed all the curry flavor. The sauce is banging. So tasty with white rice. Beef Rendang - the type is beef is different. This place uses beef shank and I'm used to beef brisket. Lady finger with shrimp - I'm not usually a fan of okra because of the slime, but it wasn't bad. The flavor was tasty. Lastly, we got a complementary dessert, Apam Balik. It was tasty and just the right amount of sweetness. It's soft inside and crispy on the outside. I washed it down with a Thai ice tea and it was more on the sweeter side. Overall, the service is impeccable, and hospitality is above and beyond. The food is definitely worth coming again.

no wait time, spacious and friendly staff, thai ice tea is big. The food came out fast, roti was good and came out warm, always nice when it's not stale. The service was good. Pineapple fried rice was the best

Service was fast and friendly. Place was big by New York standards and the food was spot on. We tried their Roti Canai, Acar, Lobak and Char Kuay Teow. The place was a bit loud but that's typical of Malaysian restaurants. It was a Sunday and so there were many kids too. In all a great new addition to the neighborhood.

Fairly new Malaysian restaurant that replaced the Chinese restaurant. Service is good and fast. Very casual restaurant. We ordered the curry roti, fried pork intestine, seafood in taro's nest, some soup noodle (forgot the name), and basil clams. Everything was delicious, especially the clams and pork intestines. I could've done without the seafood in taro nest dish though. The taro dish was pretty dry. I was pretty full before the soup noodle came. Overall, a good restaurant added to the neighborhood.

Food: Excellent flavors in both the Hainanese Chicken and Chow Kueh Teow. Chicken is very moist and well made. It comes with a bed of cucumbers and soy sauce on the bottom. Chow Kueh Teow has squid and shrimp. Portions are on the smaller side, but I would recommend this restaurant! Service: Staff is very attentive and friendly. Ambiance: Restaurant is modern and clean. Good for both large and small groups.

We came here on a Friday night and it was super crowded! Thankfully when we came for a table of 4, we got seated within 10 mins. Others that came afterwards were waiting a really long time. My friend waited 45 mins for a table for 4. It's a small place and being that this is new for the neighborhood, everyone is going to want to come here to try. We ordered the roti, Hainanese chicken, beef pad Thai, curry ribs with rice and chow keuh teow. My parents only liked the Hainanese chicken and the sauce that came with it. My favorite was the beef pad Thai - it was good in flavor. The curry for the ribs and roti was a little too salty though and the roti was a little doughy tasting. The service was amazing - everyone was so sweet and attentive (which really pushed the stars from a 3 to a 4). Food came out quickly too. I would probably come back again if I'm craving for some Malaysian food in the neighborhood but would not really say this place is worth an hour wait.
